Steve has experienced a great deal of success teaching his unique theories since the inception of his professional golf career over 10 years ago. This gave him the confidence to invest more time into bringing his philosophies to life, hence Pro Impact Golf as a branded structure was born. Although the theory is new to the public as a concept, his past and current students understand his teaching knowledge is vastly beyond his years. Understanding the golf swing can be an overwhelming task to say the least but Steve believes in Pro Impact Golf as a teaching method so strongly he is 100% confident he will help you improve. Whether you are a complete novice, a seasoned player or picking up the game again after a layoff, it’s obvious why Steve Auger has been the choice teaching professional in the Quinte area since 1999. Since turning professional in 1999, Steve has sought tutelage of his own through the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. He has played in professional golf tournaments with 2 runner up finishes to his credit. On the teaching end, he started the “Next Generation Junior Academy” and after 8 strong years it is still active and thriving today. Steve has taught thousands upon thousands of lessons and among his students are true beginners, G.A.O. ranked amateurs, club champions and a Canadian Tour player. Born and raised in the Trenton area, Steve chooses to stay local and work close to his roots in attempt to give back for the areas past and ongoing support. Steve believes that in order to improve at an impressive rate, the bond between the teacher and the student must be a strong one.
